Around the Town Tuesday featuring...Logan City

I had the opportunity to "go away" to Logan City with my best friend. It was a wonderful weekend, and I relished every moment I got to spend with him!

We enjoyed the beautiful architecture...

The Fall Foliage was awe-inspiring...

We did some major eating at The Blue Bird Restaurant...

We window shopped...

and stopped into this cute little store...

Look at all this fun decor...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We even found our future home...

I can't wait to hang out with him again...

One Dollar Wednesday

I've been really tardy with my posts lately...well, not just my posts. What is it about Fall weather that makes me a little bit slower?

Anywhoo...

For my "Dollar Store" project today, I did something REALLY easy. Even if you don't consider yourself a "crafter" you can do this...

I was visiting The Graphics Fairy , and I was LOVING all of her Thanksgiving images like...

This...

this...

and this...

I found this pilgrim girl, and knew I had to have her.

I saved the image, and sent it to my friendly neighborhood picture printer...

grabbed a frame from the Dollar Tree...

and framed her up...

Finally, I added a little frou frou. I think she's found a home.

Gorgeous Halloween/Autumn decor...

One of my best friends, Brandee, has a BEAUTIFUL home. She has so many FUN decorations for all seasons, but sent me a few pictures of her Fall/Halloween decorations. They are GORGEOUS! I thought I'd share...

GORGEOUS, right? You can visit her blog here for lots of pretty decor pictures from all the SEASONS and Holidays.

Around the Town Tuesday featuring...Wheeler Historic Farm

We took a trip to Wheeler Farm this past week. The weather was perfect, the animals had just been fed, and they were happy and lively. Autumn always makes me want to take a trip to the farm. It's a great time to go, as they are offering lots of activities and FUN for the kiddos.

I have always been OBSESSED with living on a farm. It's probably because of the Little Golden Books that I read as a child. My favorites were farm themed, and I read them over and over and over and over! My mom even says that as a child, when I was asked what I would be when I grew up, I would answer, " a farmer."

In celebration of my past, I decided to "google" the word BEAUTIFUL BARNS.

One day in the distant future I'll own a farm of my own and live the country life!
